This course is a wonderful opportunity for those individuals who are starting their careers in the field of developmental disabilities. It is, also, ideal for parents, family members and professionals who want to further their learning and understanding in this field.
The course is 36 hrs long and is offered over 6-8weeks. An online format is also available for Distance Learners. The Certificate Program has 3 modules covering the basic terms and definitions in the fields of developmental disabilities, autism and psychology. The modules focus on the ethical consideration, theories and practical scenarios in working with individuals with disabilities. Finally, the program highlights the multiple other approaches and the supporting science behind them, including biological interventions and nutritional therapy.
The program is Approximately 4 hrs/week. Enrollment is limited to 10 students per group (in class format). Please complete the registration form and mail with your fee (cheque or money order) to:

Fee and Refund Policy:
The fee for all 3 modules is $960 CAN paid 1 week before the start of the program. A $100 non-refundable administration fee will be charged for any cancellation up to 24 hrs prior to the start of the program. No refunds will be given once the program commences.
